Stormbreak

Lead Designer, Stream Design

Stormbreak is MullowayIT's major tournament. I wasn't just a designer on this tournament, as I lead the entire production team through all the motion graphics, video editing and stream production.
As for Stormbreak's design, we wanted to create an e-sports feel that merged with Splatoon. I achieved this through the juxtaposition of the icon and surround graphics. While the icon is organic, the surrounding design is harsh and ridged like which I feel encapsulates what a storm is - a force of nature.
